Thank you, the efl and inkscape emerge problems were resolved. As you suggested it was a matter of emerging packages in the correct order, which is something I thought revdep-rebuild was doing. I resumed emerge with --skip- first and at the end I emerged these packages manually, without further problems. -- Regards, Mick
