I'm running an overlay for that matter: https://github.com/kakra/php-graveyard It will receive php-5.6 as soon as it leaves the main repository. But PLEASE, take note, that this receives no security updates. It's purpose is only to be able to still run installations which cannot be ported to newer PHP versions. Also, I can only give very limited support if something won't compile. The overlay exists for the purpose of running our own boxes with legacy PHP web applications and still being able to apply other security updates and do the resulting PHP rebuilds. -- Regards, Kai Replies to list-only preferred.
