I'm trying temporary block apache-2.4 so in /etc/portage/package.mask I put: >=www-servers/apache-2.4 but I get: The following mask changes are necessary to proceed: (see "package.unmask" in the portage(5) man page for more details) # required by app-eselect/eselect-php-0.9.1::gentoo # required by dev-lang/php-5.6.30::gentoo # required by net-analyzer/nagios-core-4.2.4::gentoo[apache2,web] # required by net-analyzer/nagios-4.2.4::gentoo # required by @selected # required by @world (argument) # /etc/portage/package.mask: =www-servers/apache-2.4.25 Do I need to block php-5.6.30 nagios-core-4.2.4 nagios-4.2.4 as well? -- Thelma
