Hi Patrick, thanks for your help! :) Additionally I played around with the 'vo=' settings. Interestingly it hangs always at the same point in the video. I played back the video with mpv '<url>' from the commandline and get the same effect. BUT: The output of mpv changes from "playing video" to "buffering" (at this moment the video hangs) and back. I increased the cache and readahead in mpv.conf with no effect (it even hits the same point in the video every time!). If I configure width<1280 it seems to work...but does it really need to be that small? Am I out of luck? Cheers Meino
