Hello. I've tried to install a Brother DCP-L8400CDN network laser printer on my Gentoo.
I've followed Gentoo Wiki instructions and have used official Brother's driver. The CUPS works fine with my other printer one old HP 2600N, but when I send any doc to Brother, the printer prints a blank page with the follow message on top: lpadmin -p DCPL8400CDN -E -v usb:/dev/usb/lp0 -P /usr/share//cups/model/Brother... Very strange because my printer is a network printer and not USB printer. I've tried a lot to install this printer. Anyone can hep me? Thanks. Raphael Mejias Dias
