I know, but 1) It is unlikely that /etc/portage would be missing 2) The move of make.conf to there was a few years ago 3) The fact the make.profile was not a symlink points to the cloning not producing a clone. -- Neil Bothwick I'm not a complete idiot - several parts are missing.
