x32 is the new x86 ABI. 20, is a profile that has all the emul-* packages masked, so the new multilib ebuilds take precedence. They are completely different profiles You probably need to read this: http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Multilib_System_without_emul-linux_Packages -- Regards, Markos Chandras
