With r3, CTRL-z the emerge as it starts to do the patch process, delete
patch 9914-something from the work/patch directory, the "fg" to
continue.

I was going to flame those on the security list here about their
attitude, but thats unfair as there are also good contributers, and the
problems basically buck-passing.  Sorry, but I was not impressed that
Security "pulled" -r1 as it contains the bug, so unless r4 is fixed,
gentoo doesnt have a fully working desktop for many users.
