Ok, I have built an embedded system using the howto at bulah.com
And the system boots perfectly, the only problem is that it doesnt have a login prompt. I dont know what the problem is. getty is installed on the system and the inittab loads all the scripts in /etc/init.d/S** so the inittab is parsed, it just doesnt spawn the getty's (or if it does I do not see it on screen).
