Hello, I working on a new version of the apache mesos (debelopment_overlay) ebuild. Slowly, I'm putting together an ebuild (EAPI=5) for mesos on gentoo.
I'm assuming I can use maven-bin, since it does not seem be in a src-compile version in the portage tree? For openjdk-6-jdk [1] I'm not sure what my options are as it (or a newer version?) is required by mesos-0.19-1. I did see these in portage: dev-java/sun-jdk [Masked] dev-java/soylatte-jdk-bin dev-java/oracle-jdk-bin dev-java/ibm-jdk-bin (and many more jdk's in portage) Some discussion and guidance would be keenly appreciated, as I'm not at all up on the current gentoo java issues.
