It's been a while since I used kmail (i always had "issues" and ended up reverting to thunderbird) but i'm pretty certain that the composer options allow you to disable rich-text for messages (or, conversely, enable plain-text-only). it's there somewhere, just dig ;) -- wraeth <wra...@wraeth.id.au>
