Hello list! I want to install Gentoo as headless firewalls on a pair of HP ProLiant DL360 G5 servers we happen to have lying around.
Are there special issues I need to be aware of before embarking on this endeavor? Specifically, are there special steps to take w.r.t.: * The RAID controller (AFAIK will result in 'strange' device names such as /dev/cciss/c0d0, or somesuch) * NIC controller chips * SNMP stuff, e.g., Insight Management Agent * Other stuff Pointers are very welcome!
