Hi, is anybody using openvswitch together with the openrc network scripts? The point is, that the physical network interface will be added to the vswitch and thus not have the IP-address configured by /etc/init.d/net.X. To make the box reachable the switch that contains the physical interface needs to have the box's IP assigned to it. In order for this to work, the ovs-scripts need to be started before networking starts. Is there a way to achieve this without modifying the init-scripts since this gets overridden with the next update.
