This is one thing I am trying to figure out. Is the iommu thing good or bad? It was disabled by default and I had to enable it. Then I had to edit the kernel command line to get the system to boot. I don't mind it enabled in the BIOS as that is a setting. I just see the kernel command line as a bit of a hack. When I got this figured out and posted here, that was one of the things I was wondering about. Is this a good thing or bad thing? From what I have read, Linux is not supporting something and that is the reason for the failure. I'm just trying to figure out which way this thing is leaning. Right now, this is a bit confusing. :/ Dale :-) :-) -- I am only responsible for what I said ... Not for what you understood or how you interpreted my words!
