This gives you one of the advantages of LVM, the ability to use space on a single drive as your needs change. It doesn't allow you t use multiple drives, use different filesystems or filesystem options for different mount points, prevent one filesystem from stealing space from another (although you can do this with quotas) or use snapshots. -- Neil Bothwick The three Rs of Microsoft support: Retry, Reboot, Reinstall.
