Mike (or anyone else), For which applications does setting LC_COLLATE affect sorting: a) Any C++ application that uses bool std::string::operator<(const std::string&) b) Any C or C++ application that compares char values using the '<' operator c) Any application that uses the system call "CompareStrings(const char*, const char*)" d) [your answer here] I'm sure the answer is not a or b.
