He has been on Planet GNOME for many years now. When people talks about GNOME OS, it implicitly includes the Linux kernel, sytemd/udev (including journald, hostnamed, logind, etc.), dbus, Avahi, PulseAudio, and all the GNOME stack from glib up to GNOME Shell.
