I assumed something like that, yes. Thanks for explaining. Still seeing that immediate suspend after resume ... it looks as if it actually gets the signal to suspend twice somehow. Maybe some ACPI-related issue on the thinkpad, I read about something like that back with HAL etc. (the lid-open-event was interpreted as lid-close or similar ...). Anyway, enough for today.
