I found the problem. The USB controller on the K8N Neo2 motherboard that I am using is OHCI. I had compiled support for UHCI and EHCI and left out OHCI. After adding support for OHCI, my wheel is now working fine and I didn't see any erratic mouse behaviour so far... -- Timur Aydin -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
