Oh, sorry, sure ;-) right now I wonder about the new and rather undocumented config option CONFIG_VT_CONSOLE_SLEEP It's there in 3.2 and not in 3.1.7 ... and if I manually set it to N and run "make oldconfig" it flips to Y again. Maybe unrelated, I am just digging.
