Yes, that is a known issue. Just add nano and less to @world with emerge --noreplace app-editors/nano sys-apps/less Or you could just emerge a different editor and pager. If you have something else you can put in EDITOR and PAGER, you don't need those packages and that is why portage no longer requires you to have them installed. Regards, Florian Philipp
