It worked for me, no such errors.

ls -l /usr/libexec/dbus-daemon-launch-helper
-rws--x--x 1 root messagebus 312K Sep 27 08:30 
/usr/libexec/dbus-daemon-launch-helper

MAybe your problem is slightly different. My laptop has no problems with
the default permissions, both are running ~amd64.
