OS X is not a linux distribution. It uses the xnu kernel, which fuses elements of BSD kernels with the Mach microkernel to create a hybrid. Also, I think Linus still has a lot of say about kernel development and last I checked he's not particularly wealthy, so while there is some merit in what you say (mostly in the sense that money can buy more developer hours) I don't think Linux kernel development is "all about the money". -- caveat utilitor ♫ ❤ ♫ ❤ ♫ ❤ ♫ ❤
