Interesting. What are the advantages? What I like most about Grub is the interactive shell. And that I don't have to run a command like I had to do with Lilo after installing a new kernel. I guess Grub 1 will be around for a long time, and there will be no need for me to switch soon. But I had to deal with Grub 2 on other installations, and I had many problems. And I was disappointed because configuring it is so much more complicated. It may have cooler features and suport more file systems, but setting up grub 1 most of the times was grub, root (hd0,0), setup (hd0), quit and setting up 2-3 lines in grub.conf. Wonko
