I am getting confused: $ euse -I fortran global use flags (searching: fortran) ************************************************************ [+ D ] fortran - Adds support for fortran (formerly f77) Installed packages matching this USE flag: sys-devel/gcc-4.4.5 local use flags (searching: fortran) ************************************************************ no matching entries found Two days ago or so, virtual fortran installed itself. A day later it uninstalled itself. Now fortran is set in USE as default. I don't know if the film I was watching on TV about aliens has something to do with this, but I seem to have lost some time ... ;-) -- Regards, Mick
