This is my problem, I've been troubleshooting it off and on for a while now with no luck. I'm running 2.6.11 gentoo-sources and version 3.2.8-r2 of pcmcia-cs. Right now pcmcia support is compiled into the kernel, I have previously tried it as a module with the same results. The computer is a Dell inspiron 8200.
