I'm in the US, and I like both Alt keys being Alt (not Alt+Gr). The default
X setup works fine for this.

When I start using keyboard layouts (xkb), I can't get any of the US layouts
to map two Alt's. When using a Spanish or German keyboard... I want the
Alt+Gr, but when using a US keyboard I want two alts.

>From the command, line, this can be accomplished via:

$ setxkbmap -model pc101 -layout us -variant basic

However, using kxkb, that's not an option. The only variant listed and
available for the us layout is 'intl'. In addition, it doesn't allow you
to edit the command directly.

I've fiddled with the symbols file for us, with xorg.xml, and did a little
browsing of the kxkb source code... to no avail. Can anyone point me in
the right direction?
