I think it's completely possible, but it's beyond my experience level.
In the past I've patched my kernels with instruction from folks on
audio lists but I think the patches and instructions change a bit with
every kernel so someone would have to know how to keep up with that
stuff. That's not something I think I have time for.

I can help with testing for low latency operation.
