Hi there Allan, I don't know what it can be. But, you can backup you config file and use the default one by doing this:
# cd /etc/X11/gdm # cp gdm.conf gdm.conf.bkp # cp factory-gdm.conf gdm.conf Check if the factory file is spelled like that, I don't remember right now. If using the default configuration still doesn't get it working, I don't know what can be done. But you should be able to google for it, since this error appears to be happening to a lot of people. Another solution would be to mask the newest version of gdm and replacing it with a previous one. ;) Hope this helps, Raphael. -- [email protected] mailing list
