did you tried to use another video output plugin? $mplayer -vo help try to jump between the supported plugins, maybe it could be a problem with a specific plugin? exec mplayer from a xterm wildow could give you some information about the problem. cheers, claudinei matos -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
