and? what is the problem? /etc/init.d is nothing where a user has something to change/edit/do. Overwritting /etc/init.d will not harm you, because simply the start-stop scripts are replaced. You should worry about /etc/conf.d but not init.d.... -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
