I've used kmail before and it always has deleted it from the server. You have to choose the option to delete it from the server when downloaded though.
If you mean that you want to leave it on the server until it is deleted from kmail, then I don't know. I've never seen this in either of the others you've mentioned either, though, so... -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
