Just a check here, you've not been through the apache upgrade have you and this the first time its moved to the new settings? (the newer version with the changed config location) - I can't just remmeber which version it is now that it was done on.
But having restarted it, it would now be using the `default' config again. /etc/apache2/httpd.conf is now the main configuration file now.
