[gentoo-user] OpenGL hardware acceleration on VT8 with ATI Radeon

Hi, I don't seem to have hardware acceleration for OpenGL on any virtual 
terminals other than the initial one (vt7). Is this the way it is 
supposed to be? Also, the 2D acceleration on vts other than vt7 don't 
seem to be as fast as the vt7, although I do have TV-Out.

I'm using an ATI  Radeon 9200 Pro using the proprietary drivers 
media-video/ati-drivers-8.12.10 and kdm/kde-3.4 to create the new 
virtual terminals.
