rm /etc/init.d/vixie-cron Unmerging vixie-cron didn't remove this script, as it falls under the /etc CONFIG_PROTECT. To avoid this, some people add /etc/init.d to CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK in make.conf. Benno -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
