Just in case the reply-to-myself has things confused, it is actually
"fire-eyes" problem, not mine!  He has and wants eth0 and eth1, which
are both wired connections.  He just wants them swapped.

For me, both my spare ethernet pccard and wireless pccard come up as
eth1, and I have no particular issue with that.  I do think there
_should _ be a standard naming convention for wireless cards, but I
don't really care whether it is ethX or wlanX.  Now "athX" on the other
hand....
