Unmerge x11-drm. Then rebuild the kernel with DRI support disabled, go to http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/Building and do the drm and Mesa parts for your mach64. That should give you 3D-accel back. There is no need, by the way, to do an 'emerge -e system' after updating your kernel or glibc. But it is a nice test. Benno -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
