I have had experience with reiserfs in the past (When I used to use
Slackware) And I
never had any problems with it.

Currently I am using XFS on a laptop and so far so good (I has only
been 4 months).
XFS seems to be very, very fast.

IMHO you cannot go wrong with either reiserfs or XFS.
