You will have to fix your fstab file. To try and make clear what others are saying, "/dev/BOOT" and "/dev/ROOT" are not valid device names. It looks like your fstab was replaced with an unconfigured default file. This cannot be explained by a 'simple' kernel upgrade...something else happened. So, you'll need to replace "/dev/BOOT" and "/dev/ROOT" with valid device names, something like "/dev/hda1" and "/dev/hda2" (those are just _samples_, you'll need to use the actual partitions for your system). You may also have to fix the filesystem types, and add any other filesystems (/home, /var, etc) that you created for vidalinux. -Richard -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
