Quick fix: Have a look at this document to configure speedfreq: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/power-management-guide.xml Then hit # speedfreq -p powersave Your laptop will run at a much lower speed, but at the very least, you won't get those messages. ./Hareesh -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
