++ I'd also like to see what comes out with new upstream. Regarding maintainership, AFAIK one person who's involved in the new upstream is also interested in maintaining this in Gentoo. But this is just based on my current assumption. (any non @gentoo.org addresses are still welcome to post in this ML after subscribing - at least for now) -- juippis
