This isn't super-relevant to the news item itself, but is relevant for the developer community. Do you plan to make these changes to ebuilds yourself in a mass-update at the appropriate time, or do you expect maintainers to clean up their own ebuilds. If the latter, please provide instructions as to when/etc. -- Rich
