You can not extrapolate from that, and can certainly not assume that I will appreciate that you ask "Why?" in response to something I express later. English isn't my first language, but for me it's utterly impossible to know what exactly your "Why?" refers to. That's a very basic failure in communication. I hope that makes sense.
