My feeling is that we should still consider this a supported configuration, so any warning should be along the lines of "note that we're still having issues making this work properly so be careful for now." Or, better still explain how to configure the initramfs to mount /usr. I actually run this configuration without an initramfs and haven't had issues so far. If you want to run with a small root partition I don't see much alternative. Does the genkernel initramfs mount /usr currently? Rich
