and the env vars as provided by `/lib/rc/bin/eval_ecolors`.
otherwise, i think this is a good starting point and covers the ones
off the top of my head.

note that this is the list required if openrc is not installed.  if
openrc is installed, there are more.  but those arent considered
"portable" as they're specific to baselayout-1/openrc.
