Isn't that a rather silly restriction. What is there in /usr/games/lib that 
may not be seen by people outside the group? The shared data shouldn't be. 
The binaries don't live there either, and could be restricted themselves. 
This seems to be an arbitrary restriction of the "shoot yourself in the foot" 
kind.
