If I don't preempt it now, I'll likely be told that I'm taking the above two quotes out of context and that I'm just spreading FUD, but I don't believe the context really changed from the outset. Ciaran's analogies are always outrageous, condescending and greatly accentuated. Specifically, his intention is never to help the person he is replying to, but rather to show them that they are wrong. He believes that is purely up to the person that he is replying to whether they learn from it or not.
