I wouldn't do it until mplayerplug-in works on it. I just realized it doesn't, last night. lot of people would probably be upset if it were stabilized. but they couldn't watch movies.

If you want it, it's in ~arch, so go get it. Our own documentation gives a guideline of 1 month without outstanding problems/open bugs.
