I am currently the maintainer of WordPress. I have lost interest for the most part. I don't even use it on my machine any more, other than for testing to make sure builds work properly when a bump is required. I am not going to drop the ball, but if some other Gentoo dev is interested in taking over maintainership, I won't object.
