And if you can't find any developer that should (likely) be maintaining the ebuild you can always ask in the irc channels geared towards users (#gentoo-bugs, #gentoo-dev-help, even #gentoo) or ask on gentoo-dev ML. Lots of ways to get developers attentions imo.
